Hi, I'm Matt.
Field CTO at MongoDB, where I work on data access for AI and data sovereignty — helping organisations make their data usable by AI systems while keeping control of where it lives and who can reach it.
Away from the day job I'm metahertz: I build infrastructure and security tooling, poke at radios and home automation, and talk about it on YouTube. This site collects what I make — code, videos and the occasional write-up.

skywatch
Local multi-feeder app for showing ADSB and more advanced mode-s data (autopilot mode bugs, IAS/TAS, by processing more frames in the mode-s/adsb spec than the usual sites) also supports a second radio to augment with ACARS messages when available (usually downstream only unless sitting on an airport/nats transmitter site)

# Hosted projects
Free wildcard DNS for any IP address — 192-168-1-10.nsrecord.net resolves to 192.168.1.10 — that also delegates deeper subdomains to a nameserver running at that IP, so your own DNS server can answer with any record type. A fork of the excellent sslip.io.
